Data in healthcare: efforts digitisation and digitalisation
Abstract
This talk will broadly discuss the speaker’s experience around data access in the healthcare sector and the importance of collaboration, digitisation and digitalisation in the efforts to improve health outcomes. The discussion will centre around an ongoing project in which digital data is extracted from paper records to help develop a database with peri-operative and outcomes data that can be used to test and train prediction models.
